OFSTED Report 2019

OFSTED OUTCOME

We have received the letter from OFSTED regarding the inspection that took place on 28^th February 2019.

We are delighted to say that the school continues to be judged as a good school.

Some of the comments in the letter:

“Children are at the heart of everything the school does”

“…pupils feel happy and ‘confident to take a risk’ with their learning.

“Pupils are polite and well behaved.”

“The school council has been instrumental in school improvement.”

“At Churchgate there is a strong culture of keeping pupils safe.”

“You have an effective, caring staff team, who are committed to making the school one where all pupils are valued equally”

Governors “…are highly committed, have high expectations and have a secure knowledge of the schools strengths and weaknesses.”

“Parents are very positive about the school..”
